Who We Are
The Wenatchee Valley Lions Club is made up of neighbors, friends, and volunteers who share a common goal: serving our community in the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding areas.
We are proud members of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization, and we work locally to make a meaningful impact right here in the Wenatchee Valley actively serving since 1987.
What We Do
Our service focuses on improving quality of life and supporting those in need. Our work includes:
Vision & Hearing Support
Helping individuals access eye exams, glasses, and hearing resources.
Youth Programs
Supporting youth leadership, education, and international understanding through programs such as Lions Youth Exchange.
Community Service
Participating in local projects that address real needs in our community.
Fundraising & Outreach
Hosting events that support charitable efforts and community programs.
Events & Activities
We host and participate in events throughout the year, including:
Club Meetings
Business Meeting - 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at The Country Inn located at 620 Valley Mall Parkway
Program Meeting - 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at The Country Inn located at 620 Valley Mall Parkway
Community Service Projects
Collect donations for Wenatchee School District Diabetic Snacks and Clothing (at monthly business meetings)
Collect donations for Our House Cancer Care North Central Washington (at monthly program meetings)
Collect vases for Lilies Of The Valley to assist in their mission of spreading joy (at all meetings)
Provide Mobile Meals valentines and treats (every February)
Participate in the Green Bag Project to support local food pantries (every other month)
Provide coffee and snacks at the Nason Creek Rest Area on Hwy 2 (at least once from May to September)
Volunteer with Serve Wenatchee to help setup Clothes for the Classroom to provide 1000 children in need with new clothes for the start of the school year (early August)
Volunteer at the Chelan County Fair with Wenatchee Central Lions to sell and collect tickets (early September)
Participate in White Cane Day to celebrate the right of blind people to move freely and independently with a cane or guide dog as well as educate people across the nation about blindness
Volunteer with Serve Wenatchee to collect and organize donations for Coats for Kids which partners with schools in the Wenatchee Valley to identify students in need of warm winter coats (4th Saturday in October)
Fundraisers
Putting for Sight & Hearing Tournament to provide funds for vision and hearing services to people in need within the Wenatchee Valley (3rd Saturday in September at Desert Canyon Golf Resort)
Winter Greenery Sales to raise funds for the Beverly Bradford Family Scholarship at Wenatchee Valley College (orders placed every October with delivery near Thanksgiving)
